In the North Pine river, you do dot need a permit.  The season for Bass is currently closed, so you shouldn't target them.  In North Pine dam you will need a Stocked Impoundment Permit and there is no closed season.

PM rayke1938 and he will give you a deckie spot in his boat on the dam. He is up there 3 times a week.

Early start though, 5:50am at the access gate on adsetts road and if your late,  you miss out, coz the gate opens at 6:00am and Ray goes through it at 6:00:01am come hell or high water!.

You will only need SIP, Ray has dam boat permit for his boat.
