Post by: Paul Dolan on May 16, 2012, 10:58:08 PM
Been doing a bit more culling with a mate Pete of the vermon in a local lake bloody good fun on 4 and 5 wht fly rods, this was our best afternoon out there so far this 8 plus one more that was already disposed of with a shovel in one of the locals gardens,he's taking all of them off our hands for fertiliser :youbeauty saves us having to cart them and dump them at least they are doing some good :thumbsup his garden looks great so these will certainly help it along.

You and Pete could have them wiped out by the time your new boat arrives Paul.

Dale these pests will never be wiped out unless the whole lake is poisoned there is hundreds of thousands of them in there, when it's glassy you can see schools of them everywhere on the surface and that's only the ones that you can see, there are real big suckers in there, I'd like to hook a few of them :Hunting) the ones we are catching seem to be average size. It's all sight casting to cruising schools so it's good fun and the locals garden is benefiting so all good.

That looks like some fun on fly for a good cause.
