hhhmmmm. If there's a run in the rivers, I might go looking for somewhere with some elevation/fall & take a yak in search of some whiteish water. There's always a silver lining....  :thumbsup

I'll give you young Hughie's number.  He's my nephew.  He's been trying to catch a River Blackfish lately but got a nice cod in the King River at the Edi Cutting last week.  He also got 30 odd leaping carp in the Rose River above Cheshunt.  He's only 25 minutes from Mulwala and has an amazing knowledge of the local rivers.  When he's not fishing them he's working for the Environment Department cleaning them up and re-snagging.
