Locality: Kookaburra Park, Brisbane River

Activity: river bank restoration works and boat ramp construction
Mariners are advised that construction works have commenced for the restoration of the river
bank and boat ramp at Kookaburra Park, Kawana Downs in the upper reaches of the
Brisbane River, approximate position latitude 27° 32.57' S, longitude 153° 50.47' E.
Works will involve the use of excavators from the riverbank and small barges. Silt curtains will
be deployed in the river close to the shore.
Mariners are navigate in the area with caution and are to pass the works at an appropriate
distance, at slow speed and no wash.
