Australian Trout Fishing Museum

I visited the Museum last week.  It's at the Salmon Ponds in Plenty, Tasmania.  I've put some pics of the old rods, reels and lures here:

If anyone is going to Tassie, I'd highly recommend a visit.  Hand feeding ten pound trout is pretty cool too.  It's less than an hour from Hobart.  That Rostrevor Lagoon turned out to be a very nice spot too.


These little signs are pretty common down there too.  As are the things to help climb fences.

It was only last weekend I saw your mate Paul Worstling land a YUGE rainbow at the ponds in Plenty Dale.  Apparently he got special permission to fish it and land one fish, it was a monster.  He did the walk around the shaks too, looks like a great place to visit.
