I have been catching them mainly on a River2Sea Bubble Pop 65 (Black) and a Strike-Pro Smashmouth. The latter is not a common lure but has been quite successful. Surprisingly a lot of them have been caught while sitting after a slow retrieve.

Cheers.

Nice work there, thanks for sharing. Those are some good bass.  :youbeauty I'm going to take a punt on the location, I reckon there will be some more passing thru there at the moment with the odd fish on its way to the rust water to spawn.

Kiwi AND Soccer.... is that a double whammy?  :walkplank  ;)

I'm worried that you know the jersey to be able to recognise it.  :Oops)

It might be a Kiwi soccer shirt but it keeps me warm, 100% wool of course!!
Fitzy you are right and in the same area a lot of people do not abide in the exclusion zones.
