The boys and i headed out to twin bridges for a bit of a scout in the tinnie, we managed a fair few small bass for the efforts along with a few power tails and a 4wd on a vib  :D was a fun morning out the river  8)

mostly casting, but every stretch that was 3 -5mtrs we would troll  :) then work spinnerbaits and vibes as well..

Nice one Wes. Hey how long do you think the forkies will keep biting up that way? Will they shut down with the colder weather like they do in the dam? Is there any size to them? I got a similar size one to your pic at Colleges from the yak over Easter and it has got me keen to chase them again. I think they are underrated because they are ugly:P

not to sure if they will slow down , there is a massive school of them upstream of shines, they will hit any thing that moves there  ;D they go good the bigger ones and they deserve the name powertail lol will have to do a sesh chasing them and see what the numbers are at the end of the sesh..

Nice part of the river up that way, was at twinnies on saturday morning, shame the people leave there rubbish and cr@p everywhere! dead catties in the car park area and rum cans left in piles around fires  :walkplank

The flood of 2011 took away the bins, council hasn't got around to replacing them yet.

Still no excuse for littering though. Last wednesday morning there was even a stripped down VY commodore shell left there.

Considering it was my first trip up there I was majorly disappointed, picked up what i could fit in my bag and headed back to fernvale, my nephew was asking me why there was so much rubbish around the place
