Title: wivenhoe fishing

Anyone being to Wivenhoe recently? thinking of having a fish there  soon was wondering if anyone has being catching anything.

Not seen any reports, if anyone is catching any fish their keeping quiet about it.

I launched at Billies Bay a couple of weeks ago, just the usual catties though. It was only a very short arvo session .

My wife bumped into a guy at the tackle shop who said he recently got a 55cm Bass from out in the horse paddock.

I've also tried to launch at Somerset township, but Somerset Dam had a few valves open which was stirring up the old Stanley. O'Sheas crossing was plan B , but it too was running very dirty.

The rivers and creeks in SEqld have a bass plague, they have been more fun.
