Qld Bass Lakes Map

Still a work in progress, but here's a snapshot of some work being done in the back ground on sweetwater. This will only be here for 24 hours & will come back into a members only area in the future.

Constructive comments / feedback are welcome.  :tick

Are you going to add (decimal) GPS points to the individual icons ?

Yes Dale

They have even held a AFC Tourney in there some years back.

The skeeters got to max speed of 6 knots in like 0.17896 seconds

No speed limit on Paradise mate, it's full of ski boats.  I've got some 60mph video Fitz took up there in the Stratos.

Hi Gaz,

No. The icons are intended to give a rough guide to where a dam / lake is in an overall in an overall region (or state going forward with other maps). Nor is the map intended for on water navigational use. Using these maps you will be able to use the directions function from a smart phone / tablet to give you road navigation to the lake.

It is hoped that more accurate locations of key features with pictures & video will be added to individual lake maps. An example is on the Lake Somerset info page; see http://www.sweetwaterfishing.com.au/Somerset.htm Let us know what you think of that one?

Cheers,

Think they did it due to size of Lake...not a enforceable rule

It's massive.  From the wall to the bridge was a fair run at top speed.  It makes Borumba look tiny.

Anyone done the 'grand' lap of all the Bass lakes yet?

There's a year's worth of weekends just to try and nail them all.

Have been to all of those on the list in the map, haven't caught a bass in all of them though, some are yet to have fish in them/come on line or no access YET (eg Manchester, Enoggera, Clarendon, Wyaralong)
