Well a fortnight or so ago I dutifully wrote off to 4 different fish suppliers asking for quotes for fingerlings for the next stocking season. I followed up, managing to speak with 2 of them, and got sick of getting the answering machine for the other 2.
However I've not received a single quote in reply as yet, is this normal or do I have bad breath?
Should I wait a bit longer or should I see if someone else is more interested in doing business?

Obviously you would have asked for a quote on a certain number of fish ?
Seems a bit odd noone wants to play ball with you .. The fish farm i go through are generally pretty good.

Have received prices from all our regular suppliers + half a dozen others.
What fingerlings are you looking to stock ?

Steve.

Asked for quotes on Bass and Yella's. (Yes with numbers)
Going to get quotes on Mary's as well, but not until I find a copy of the permit so I know how many.

You don't need to get a written quote per species / consignment / season.... You only need refer to current price list. If you want to get specific "quotes per volume" then go your hardest.
Cheers,
fitz..
