Freshwater flows, barramundi and the Fitzroy

Yeah, but the big flows in the Fitzroy in 2011 were extreme, might have stripped everything to bare - or, with major mines being inundated and the subsequent pumping dry of the mines after it,  might just be a pollution problem not yet realised (admitted).

It was a good read, have to read stuff like that all day every day at work, so translation of the boffin waffle is not an issue.

Very rare for such research to be able to be performed these days. Our research budget has gone from over 2 million a year to zero in the last 10 years. research has just become a by product of commercial activities for most Govt departments these days.
