Did Lowood to the log jam yesterday arvo, for one rat off the surface, very quiet. Thanks to James & bjm for the company.

A tip for the unwary, don"t try & reverse out of Lindermans Rd access with a near empty fuel tank. It caused an air lock in the fuel system. I had forgotten my phone so James kindly lent me his to ring RACQ. They turned up at about 8.20, because the ute was still on a slope he could not get it started & could also not tow me up onto the flat. Tilt tray is called & a lift to the garage at Tarampa is organised. Once the  ute was on the level ground it started after a bit of encouragement. Finally got home at 11.

Cheers Andrew

It's been tough fishing Harpeng Rd to the wall since mid Dec. At Shines Rd most of the bait fishos have given up. I used to see over a dozen of them fishing with live shrimp or worms Mon-Fri. Next water release will no doubt improve the fishing.

Fished the stretch below the dam a few weeks ago and got 2 in the canoe and hooked one that gave me a huge run before finding a log jam. I find at the moment a slow soft plastic when still a bit darkish in the morning will get a bit of interest.
Cheers KIM
