Wappa Dam - Outflows increased
Seqwater advises that due to rainfall in the catchment Wappa Dam is spilling and due to high inflows into the dam, outflows have increased. Caution downstream is advised due to possible downstream release hazards.
This means that if you are downstream of the dam you should exercise caution near waterways and floodplains as you may encounter fast flowing or deep water that could be a safety hazard.
If you are concerned about road closures or other flood impacts, you should contact your local council. River level information can be obtained from the Bureau of Meteorology website, bom.gov.auSorry, only registered users can see this content. Please Login or Register.
