Title: Murray River trip near Wentworth
Post by: Slates on June 11, 2016, 10:49:55 AM
G'day guys.
A couple of weekends ago, I had a trip to the Murray River near Wentworth. We bush camped on the Vic side of the river near the Abbotsford Bridge. I hadn't done this for yonks and forgot how much fun it is with campfires, good mates, steak, cheese, pots of red wine and cool beers. The cod were shy but we caught a few GPs to 52cm which was pretty cool.

I can vaguely remember going there with Dad when I was a kid.  Big red cliffs along the river from memory.

yeah, there were some fair cliffs where that GP I caught was but we stuck to a small-ish section of the river. Beaut possie!
