Title: Australian Bass Engulfs Frog!

Addicted to surface action, chasing Australian native species, a tackle tactic was put to the test, chasing wild Australian Bass in their natural habitat. This lure presentation did not disappoint one bit. The lure combination of TT Lures 1/8oz, 6/0 Tournament Series, Snagless Weight System hook with Z-Man Australia's White 4" Hard Leg FrogZ proved to be too irresistible for one 30cm Australian Bass. Attached was a Gamakatsu #1 trailer hook, only because of the shear size of this lure compared to the size of the intended target species, which in this case was our iconic Bass. However, the trailer hook was most definately not needed as this particular Bass engulf's the entire lure, legs and all. This particular lure presentation has proved itself time and time again, whilst chasing Murray Cod out west on surface and metre plus Barramundi up north. Now It also has claimed another Australian iconic sports fish, the Australian Bass.

Gr8 video Dave!!!  Wow, I had to watch it a few times to see the splashdown/hookup in one.  It reminds me l have to give my frogs a go when I get down to Hinze.

A great video Dave. It shows how even a small bass can & does feed on much larger food that we often think. I caught some bass on 13cm lures meant for threadfin salmon in the Bremer River the other night.

Nice work Dave, I don't chase Bass on small lures much any more. But that frog is something else.
