Re-usable Loop Knot
« on: December 03, 2013, 10:59:41 AM »
This is a great knot if you're using very heavy leader.  It's worth cutting it off and retying after a big fish though.  Courtesy of Yoshitaka Tsurusaki of FCLLabo.

I watched it a couple of times. Similar to loop knot I use, however seeing how easily it comes undone, I would be worried about it coming loose in its own in short order, especially if there's only a short tag.

Has anyone here tried and used it?

The idea is to leave the tag long.  He used it with about 15lb fluorocarbon when we Kayaked the river.  He's a guy that changes lures a lot and he does catch a lot of fish.
