Twin Bridges to Savages Crossing Section
« on: October 04, 2013, 03:01:12 PM »
Hi Guys,

I'll be heading out taking my father in law through this section on the wknd for his first bass fishing trip, and I was wondering if anyone has been through this section lately and would appreciate some info on what they have been taking lately.

Thanks in advance.

Craig

There's fish there every day of the week. How it fishes changes from day to day & morning to afternoon. The best lure is the one you've got tied on, the trick is to get the lure into the right places. The days of catching scores of bass by trolling up the middle are pretty much done. Those ex lake fish are educated a bit now & natural instincts are taking over from the lazy bass open water grazing habits. Better anglers will now shine through; better casting, better presentations, more patience is going to be better than the latest "whiz bang lure".

Never any guarantees, only way to find out is to go fish it & see how you go....

Cheers,
