Title: Burrendong nealry at 120%!
Post by: poddy mullet on December 02, 2010, 08:05:10 AM
Burrendong is almost at 120 % with impoundment experts being flown in from sydney to monitor inflow/outflow tin the hope of minimising flood damage across the central west!

Best of Luck.
The first of many overflows for Australia this season, I'd be thinking.

The most I've seen Burrendong at was 113% and it was impressive then. With all the water flowing down the Cudgegong it should go well above the 120 mark. I haven't seen the weir at Lawson Park running almost level for around 20 years.
