Title: Some more Brassall - One mile fun
Post by: UBK on April 21, 2012, 02:30:02 PM
Hey all, headed out with Paul again this morning to push up further than we had in the Bremer yet. We got to the Leichardt footy ovals. Saw some nice scenery on the way and managed a few fish at the same time  :thumbsup All up 19 were landed, 7 to me and 12 to Paul. All mine fell to Hard bodies, mostly Predatek Boomerang, before an angry bass stole it...  :-\ Then the rest on Tilsan bass'. Had one little fellar hit the lure as I was lifting it from the water, short fight that one  :P Most were up over the 35-40 mark but we both managed to land a stonker 53cm each  :))
An awesome morning if ever there was! Also spied some cows in the river at one stretch......... May have cast at one, to see if there may have been a bass hanging around it..........  :Hunting)

Have to see what happens will ask Ben.
We pushed up as far as we could go, had to walk through about 4 or 5 sets of rapids but found a great hole.
Got a wet ass but was a great day :youbeauty

You blokes see any signs that the Bass have started moving downstream yet? That water looks fairly dirty, looks like lots of rainfall run off.

Good work boys, some more nice looking bass there!! It was interesting getting my big ride over the tree, what about you guys?
... and I think I know what hole you mean as well ;)

Heading offshore Wednesday hopefully, but if the weather deteriorates might come for a paddle.
