What started out as just a cod session to get the wife back in the swing of it ( post baby), ended up being a great day. 12 cod and 3 yellas landed, many more dropped.
Alison started the day well, landing a good fish off the snag where "The Jeff" had dropped a big unit the weekend before.

Caught all my fish for the day on this lure, except for one cod which I got on a spinnerbait while the Garra was hanging in a tree.

The larger fish came from unseen snags mid river, the upper dumaresq doesn't have as much of that sort of habitat.
Btw, the sweetwaterfishing shirts worked a treat. :youbeauty

I'm guessing it's running about a foot or so higher than normal and the clarity is just right. Been regular storms upstream of late so should run nicely for awhile yet. Glenlyon is adding its bit too for the irrigators further downstream. Should be a good December and January I hope.
Cheers,
Dave.

Dumaresq River near Texas. There's a lot of options for fishing from kayaks there.
Cheers,
Dave.
