Title: Last week No 3
Post by: dinodadog on August 11, 2012, 07:11:33 AM
Average sort of week last week with some days quite and some good. Bass were a better size caught on lures with some getting over the 50cm mark. Several of these models made thier way to my boat and were released to get bigger for next year.

Quite a few people are getting some on lures, most bass are up high 2 or 3m but on some days they are on the chew down at 5m, they are not in big groups and at times they flash out and grab the lure and you have not seen a thing on the sounder. If you get bored trolling like I do a quick session here and there with shrimp helps. Casting not very productive at the moment, we have little structure and no weed beds and the bass are not schooling in the numbers we used to have. They seem to be on the move all the time in little groups of 2 or 3 fish. Averaging 6 to 15 on lures most sessions.
