Title: wivenhoe fishing well yet?

Just wondering if anyone has fished wivenhoe of late? if so is it worth the trip.

thinking its going to be a hard round for the bass electric boys

Hi Boarslayer, have heard reports of some good yellas being caught in the upper reaches, but I spent an arvo there recently & apart from a beautiful afternoon on the water the fish were still tight lipped. Good luck with it.

Wow that sunset pic is spectacular!!
I had a mate go up a couple weeks ago, landed 1 bass for a day so yeah still bit slow!

No good............I've fished the basin a couple of times in the last month for zip.

Hoping it's just the water clarity & it gets better as the water clears.

A friend reported(Sun 29th) he had caught some nice yella's and a couple of mid size bass, up and down the river from O'shea's.
Also very good reclaw as well.

went for a fish out from logans last sunday. my mate got 1 bass 40cm FL wasn't very fat for this time of year at the hoe. apart from that  it was a very quite day.
