Caution needed on boat ramp and road access to Bronte Lagoon - 4-5 March

Hydro Tasmania is conducting investigations at Bronte Dam as part of their comprehensive Dam Safety Program. This work will provide insight into the current status of the dam, which will be used to plan upgrade works in future years.
The work is scheduled for 4 and 5 March 2014 and will involve disruption to road access across the top of the dam because of the need to work on the crest of the dam.
Care should be taken if using the boat ramp as the lake level will be lower than normal.
Hydro Tasmania will make every effort to limit disruption for road users but delays should be expected when using the road across the crest of the dam.
Any questions should be directed to Andrew Rumsby, the project manager, on 1300 360 441.
