Title: Bassin near Potsville?
Post by: russcoight on October 17, 2011, 01:45:19 PM
Hi All

I have to go down to Potsville on Saturday and I though whilst the missus is working in Potsville for the day I might sneak off for a cheaky bass fish!

 ;)

I have fished Clarrie Hall but its quite the trek from Potsville so I thought someone might be able to put me on to a sneaky creek somewhere striking distance from the coast? or am I dreaming?

I might have to opt for a fish in the salt on the yak.

Any ideas and advice would be gratefull!

Cheers

Russ!

I was actually down there last week. didn't get much fishing done but the guy from caba tackle reckons that the bridge just as you enter uki is a great for launching a yak and apparently they are getting a few there.

Not far from uki is upper tweed river and oxly i think runs into it.
There is a fair strech of water there up both rivers and bass but may be getting too far away from potsvill

I'd be launching in the salt and filling the yak with tasty Flathead fillets at this time of the year.
