G'day all,
Well it's been a couple of months in the making and a lot of hard work involved by many members of Ewen Maddock Fish Management Inc.to get permission to host a competition on Ewen Maddock Dam. We are very proud to announce that we have the go ahead to hold the groups inaugral Ewen Maddock Fish Stockers Challenge on the 23rd of February 2013 next year.
We are in the final stages of organising a few finer details and hope to have a flyer out in the following week after Xmas for contact details and how to enter and register, so stay tuned and keep the date available please.
Recently the lake has been fishing quite well with good reports of Saratoga, good Golden Perch and some very nice Australain Bass being caught. In a short session recently I witnessed a good Toga and Yella being caught along with the 20 odd Bass that saw themselves being photographed yakside before their release, the largest being 51cm in length.To wet your appetite I have selected a few shots of some fish I have caught recently from Ewen Maddock Dam.
