Not long until the Bass season opens. Being fathers day, I'm going to have to do the kids thing, but come sunday night..... I reckon the opener could be a night session for me on the river here.....
Who is going to hit it on bass season opener?

Highly likely Fitz. Just need to make up my mind to launch from Hollywood or the Hill :-\
Will prob be doing a morning sesh though.

I think the following weekend is on the cards for me!

My parents are coming up for a week starting on the 31st...So happy and sad at the same time. Get to see the folks, they get to play with the grandkids (been 12months) get have Fathers day with my Dad (1st time in 20 years!).
Sad because can't go fishing, can't go to wivenhoe either ;( Ahh well...will have to fit it in somewhere I guess!
Enjoy the fishing, look forward to the reports.

I launched my boat at Copmanhurst on the Clarence a few days ago and found the river nice and clean. WE went downstream to where the Orara joins the Clarence and went a K or two up there. Once the weather warms up I'll be back. Got a few small returns on the sounder and there were plenty of baitfish flipping about.

Not sure where I'LL be heading maybe the local river or maybe head south towards the Tweed area.

I'm hoping the waterway's will be deserted early sunday and I'll have the bass all too myself as all you Dad's will be busy at home opening your Father's Day pressie's. ;)

Fathers day present for me will be a fish with my son on afore mentioned river. Might see you there Toni.
