Thanks Fitz, Dale, Felicity and the crew and all the sponsors :Clap) :thanks
Awesome to see the weather playing ball for a change and just wonderful to see an active bass school on the dam on Saturday with every one scoring more than a few :youbeauty
It seems the Wivy of old is on the way back :youbeauty
I would also like to say that I thought the presentation from Neil Schultz and Fitzy on the Friday Night before the competition on how to catch Bass and Yellowbelly was a great idea and it was well received by everyone I spoke to, we all learnt something and I really enjoyed the fact the Schultzy followed up every day by joining us on the water in his kayak encouraging us and giving us tips while out on the water. It really was a master stroke who ever thought of it.
So a huge thank you to Neil too., absolutely awesome.. :youbeauty
I loved the mix this year Fitz. absolutely looking forward to 2013 already :youbeauty

HUGE thanks to Fitzy,Dale,Felicity and to all the great people behind the scenes that, without their dedication and time this event wouldn't be the wonderful event it is every year!!! :thanks
Many thanks to the sponsors and congratulations to the winner's this year.
Looking forward to next year!!!

I will say straight up that this is a great venue and a great get together and social comp.
I couldn't make it this year 2012 and I am so much poorer for not being there.
From what I have heard so far, this event has even surpassed other years. All the more reason to make it there next year.
Well done to all those involved, you have my wholehearted congratulations :Clap) again.
Cheers,
Pam

Pfffft ! How quickly we forget? I told you it was 1200 if it was 1mm. As a wise man once said " Missed it by that much!"
Really needed the advantage of a deck fighting chair and deckies to land it. Perhaps you'll lend me your PA when next I go a huntin? :Hunting) Assuming it's still in survey

Fitz, Felicity Dale et al. Thank you: You're Bloody Legends. :Clap) :thumb :Clap)
I saw on National Geographic some time ago that Lions had sex that lasted for ages and went all night. Fat lot of good that did me after I'd already joined bloody Rotary !

Lowood Lions for the food and being top guys. Stocking groups and all sponsors, Somerset Region Council and SEQ water simply magnificent support please continue your excellant work! Thanks to all the guys there and you guys on this forum who have helped in one way or another.
Thank you,
Craig

Ditto to all the above. Great to see that 2012 had the largest number of entrants yet.
As Sel said, how good was it that the bass schools that Wivy is famous for(which have been MIA since the dam hit 90%FSL back in early 2010) made a welcome appearance.
Lake out fished the River, things are getting back to normal.
Cheers,
Dave.

Awesome event once again Fitz and Co. Thanks for all the time and effort put into it. Looking forward to next year when the dam has (hopefully) really fired up.

Thanks to everyone who attended.... like I said at the start of the presentations on Sunday, we don't always get it right, but will happily fix any stuff ups. That in mind, I will need to separate the 2 events a bit further. That fixed, there's a spankin new Humminbird 345CX DI for Ollie (insert plug here for Ollie's Stingray Lures) sitting at Charltons Fishing for him to pick up.
Overall, thank god the weather held out & the lake got back some of its previous form. It's always good to see people catch fish. :thumbsup

An awesome weekend once again. Thanks Fitz for making this the biggest and best Kayak and Canoe Fishing Convention in the World. Thanks to all the entrants for making this event as enjoyable as it is. Thanks to the sponsors Fitz has mentioned. BLA are bloody awesome! Felicity is a dynamo on the computer and the weekend wouldn't have happened without her tireless efforts. I guess I'll see ya's all next year hey?
I even fluked a couple of little fish this year.

From a sponsors point of view:
A huge thanks to Fitzy and the crew for allowing us (Backwater Paddles, Zipper Worm Company and AR Lures) to support the event. Your event is a no brainer when it comes to sponsorship, we are committed to growing our level of sponsorship over the coming years!
Just as important from my point of view is a HUGE THANKS to the anglers and families that attend this event and support the sponsors, we are by no means the largest contributor to the prize booty that is on offer but without you the anglers we couldn't put our products in your hands.
Location and weather always play a part but for mind it is the people, from the organisers through to the competitors and their support crews that make this event what it is. I haven't come away from an event not learning something and this is what will see my company return year on year.
So from the crew at MLTE a sincere thanks to everyone again and look forward to next year!!
