Post by: bjm on November 23, 2012, 02:51:53 PM
G'day all,

I just wanted to know how long to allow for a potential fishing trip from the Low wood bend to savages???  This being a one way trip.

Thankx Brad

Just paddling , it would be a nice morning's worth. If you intend flicking a line a fair bit, make a day of it.

Cheers,
Dave.

Don't attempt to paddle under the low bridge at Twin Bridges.  Be careful of the funnel effect there too.  Davies about right with the time, give yourself the whole day if you want a good fish.

Can poke along and drift it in about 4 four hours depending on flow & wind. Add fishing time & you've got a nice day out.

make sure u dont go down any of the tunnels on left bridge there s a barb wire fence through water , just a few months ago i watched a group of scouts or school camp something go down stream in cannoes , the leader instructed them to pass through the right side middel tunnel , the side closet to high way.
cheers joe
