Title: SIP Advisory Committee
Post by: rayke1938 on June 29, 2011, 08:39:52 PM
How is the scheme administered?
It is administered by Fisheries Queensland. However Fisheries Queensland is advised by an Advisory Committee. This committee represents local fish stocking groups, the Freshwater Fishing and Stocking Association of Queensland (FFSAQ), recreational fishers, Sunfish, the freshwater aquaculture industry and Fisheries Queensland itself. Its role is to provide input that will benefit Queensland's freshwater fisheries of the state.
Does anyone  belong to this committee/
I am intereted in its composition, who is actually on it and how ofter do they meet and do they report back to the intereted bodies such as the Stocking assns etc.
 Cheers
Ray

This was the subcommittee of the FMAC which I was on. The FMAC as it stood has been mothballed.

However I'm told there was a group pulled together by "invitation" regarding SIP. No application process; no idea who was on it.
