When i started yak fishing not long ago i tried a few different ones friends had and is best to do so to find what you like yourself. My first yak is a ocean kayak scrambler 11 and i find it pretty good for an all rounder for dams and creeks, Others may disagree but depends what you want it for.

Yeah, horses for courses.
I've got big and small yaks, I tend to use my Tempo mostly, by my little yaks work just as well, (tend to leave them for the kids) just a little more tippy, have to be more careful about the gear you want to take and how to stow it, but lots more maneuverable and quicker through the water.

What sort of fishing do you intend on doing? Dams or Rivers and creeks, or the lot?

Cheers

Answering a few of these will help you choose the right type of kayak for you.

How much do you weigh?
How tall are you?
What type of location are you most likely to be paddling?
Distances you think you will travel?
Budget?

Cheers,
