Isn't it amazing what you can find right under your nose when you go looking for small native fish / crayfish.
The video below is of a creek with some gorges on it. The creek flows into a dam which everyone knows, I've driven past this spot dozens of times before and had a quick look around a few times but had not taken the 20 minute easy walk it took to find the country shown here.

Anyone want to try picking where it is?

Gorge, creek, dam
recon one of the last pics may have given it away
Somerset, near the spit. The bit where there is an old road I think, but the road does a 120 degree to the right heading north.

Northbrook?

Not sure Fitzy, but a beautiful looking spot. Would have been terrifying during the floods.
Cheers Andrew

Nah, can't be that one Steve. I've walked/climbed that one....nothing easy about it. Plus it doesn't have that gorge, and the watercourse goes nearly vertical up that mountain.
Northbrook?
That's what I'm thinking aswell.

But most of the footage I reckon is from the above google map where it says the word "Northbrook Creek".
Cheers,
Dave.

Yep, Northbrook Creek. Well worth a walk up from the last bridge as you head up the mountain.
