2013 Jindabyne Family Fishing Challenge
« on: April 07, 2013, 04:15:10 PM »
2013 Jindabyne Family Fishing Challenge, 4-5 May.
With only a handful of weeks to go before the start of the Discovery Holiday Parks Family Fishing Challenge, it’s time to dust off those rods, repack the tackle box and submit your registration for what will be a fun weekend of fishing for all ages.

The annual Family Fishing Challenge is being held over the weekend of Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th May 2013 on the waters of the beautiful Lake Jindabyne.

The competition organising committee are proud to have secured Rapala Australia as the major sponsor of the fishing challenge.

Competition event manager Steve Williamson says, “The competition is all about participation, having fun with the family and challenging for the number of prizes”.

With over $5,000 worth of prizes on offer, there’s every reason to register for this event.  The cost of entry for the 2013 Jindabyne Fishing Challenge is $60 per adult; $25 per child; and $140 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. “You don’t even have to catch a fish to be a winner as there are heaps of lucky entry prizes and every child is guaranteed to go home with something out of the prize pool donated by a number of generous supporters.”

The annual event not only aims to deliver a weekend of entertainment, all proceeds raised through the Saturday night ‘Silent Auction’ will be donated to MS Australia.

“We have to thank our sponsors for donating prizes to help with our fundraising for children who suffer from Multiple Sclerosis. This incurable disease is something that these children have to live with for the rest of their lives and money is desperately needed for research” says Steve.

The Fishing Challenge competition entry forms are available up til 10am on Saturday 4th May from Steve Williamson’s Tackle Shop, Snowline Centre Kosciuszko Road Jindabyne.

To enter the competition or to donate an auction item, please contact Steve Williamson on 02 6456 1551 or 0408 024 436.

This competition is proudly supported by MS Australia; Rapala Australia; Discovery Holiday Parks – Jindabyne; Steve Williamson’s Fishing Adventures and Tackle Shop; Tasmanian Devil Lures; Professional fishing Instructors and Guides Association of Australia; Ballista Lures; Australian Fishing Network and Okuma Tackle.
