Hello All I caught this recently and cannot identify it. It has a dark green face and red trim on its tail that does not show very well in the picture. Thanks in advance for your help

That is a tilapia - a noxious pest. Hope you destroyed it as it is illegal to return them to the water...

Yep - tilapia. Catch as many as you can and bash them all on the head! They are supposed to be really good eating, but in Qld you are not to take em home for dinner. Must be buried above the flood line or put in the bin on site if one is supplied.
