Somerset and Wivenhoe Dams Optimisation Study
The Queensland Government has released the Wivenhoe and Somerset Dam Optimisation Study and announced plans to change the way Wivenhoe Dam is operated.
The Government has also announced plans to consider increasing the size of Wivenhoe Dam and construct a number of new dams to lessen the impact of future major floods.
