Hi Guys
well been playing around with timber for a bit, but never really finished anything.
Basically got lost while doing things. With help from the lure lovers web page I was getting closer but still had some things that I could never understand fully.
Anyway, it was Sel that put me straight on a lot of things and I must have asked him a thousand questions and he usually had two thousand answers. So a big thanks goes to me ol china plate Sel.
Anyway, here is my first finished or completed lure.
Its made from Red Cedar. Body is 78mm long and has an overall length with the 1.2 mm ally bib of 105mm.
It floats and sits well in the water. Can drop it from any side or direction and self rights. One test passed. Still unknown how it swims and if my home made bib will impart any action at all. Then next obviously to catch a fish.
So without any further fanfare ......I present to you the
Flatt RR's

Great work Steve.
I know there's several other "closet" lure makers here on Sweetwater & I'm waiting for them to show off their work as well.
Great to see people having a go :youbeauty

Here are couple of more colours out of the sawdust shed.
Lures are the same size, sorry for the shite pics but you will get the idea.
The red black fella was not quite dry when I removed my netting, live and learn
New bib shape of that one as well, inspired by a 20 cent piece that came out of my pocket.
Anyway, fire away with your comments
