Title: New Kids off the Block - 2-R's Lures

Here are a few of the latest that have come out of the sawdust factory known as 2-R’s Lures. The above is one of the blocks and is a piece of Jelutong that I am trying.

The first couple below and a few of these have found new homes and been adopted is the Slapp-RR’s. Basically a surface walker that has a cool action. These are actually from Red Cedar and are between 90-100mm long.

In the same build as the Slapp is the below Krakk-RR’s. Also a surface walker from red cedar but a broken back two piece. A few of these have found new homes but am still to hear any reports of them being taken for a swim. Next round of these will be slightly different with a heavier wire tow and join / hook hangers. But you guys that have them, go and try to destroy them.

Big brother to the Katzz is the Qldd-RR’s. Very similar in design, larger and slightly stretched.  Being a Qldd-RR it is built strong also with heavy wire hangers.  Name was generated from Dave.  Unproven but recon they will put on a big show this weekend. Have a wicked swim action with a wide side to side wobble and also have a nice roll action as well.

The next new model is basically a fat Skinii so it’s a Pudgii-RR’s. gave this a swim yesterday arvo and real happy with the action. Also sports the heavy wire hook hangers and more than likely will be the first lure I tie on this weekend.

A few of the below have found new homes. It’s a yabby imitation and as you can see the tow point is higher than the rear of the lure so was named the Sagii-RR’s. These are unpainted and are waiting for some inspiration to get some colour out. First lot is made from White Beech.

Couple of Katzz-RR’s that are getting the Heavy Wire Upgrade.  Rough as paint jobs and a bit of a quick rush for this weekend. Finished eyes this morning and will start clear coat this arvo. They have been a real performer for myself and others on the bass and have nailed a cod.

So the lot put together from above with some finhed Skinii-RR’s and Katzz-RR’s. Yes haven’t been watching a whole lot of telly at night.

Anyway, here is looking towards this Saturday which as we all know is December 1. Cod opening day.

Steve, after all the output in the sawdust factory Saturday will be a welcome respite, and all the RR's lures look fantastic, so you may be busy releasing fish instead mate .
