just a few more from the Ord

Here's a few shots from the Ord over the last month.  The run off still has a bit to go but has started to decline, with luck the fish should stay interested for a while longer. A vintage May would be handy.

We struck no monsters but heard of the odd one.  Most of the fish sat between the slot limit of 55 - 80cm. 



















The flooding was impressive, not seen the lower Ord like that since 2006 and Cyclone whatshername.




















Run off was pretty constant for a few weeks








Low tide sand bars blocking the river, could find no way through on one low tide so had to drag the boat across the bar to a deeper channel





Crocs kept pretty low but you saw the odd one








The river always puts on a good show .

Canon 50D, its good

Tinitus, cuts down on the crickets at the end of the day

you can see a face in the top right hand corner

Ghost cow, a lot get eaten in that river
