Title: Lake Boondooma Early Sept 2010.
Post by: Paulo on September 22, 2010, 06:29:52 PM
Spent a few days at Boondooma recently, what a great dam.The water level was 99.9%when we left. The fishing tho was tough with not many fish caught.Shrimp and redclaw were at a premium also. However,we found plenty of fish on the sounder but they weren't hungry. With the influx of water theres heaps of new territory to explore, that was previously high and dry.A beatufiful spot that will see us again for sure.

No worries Fitzy, glad to help out and let folk know how good the dam is looking. We were there with friends who got on to a few yellowbelly,a couple of which were cooked up,we had never tried them before and they weren't bad chewing. The Bass were playing hide and seek though.
