Title: Cod season opening
Post by: Sweetwater on November 09, 2012, 09:48:05 AM
December 1 is the opening of the Murray Cod season. I'm locked & loaded for a trip south of the border to go chase some green fish.

Time to start thinking about getting those aussie timber lures and spinnerbaits set with new hooks, bass leaders up graded, tackle boxes/bags sorted and get the kayak refitted for the trip.

Who else is celebrating the cod season opener with a trip to meet up with the old mate Murray?

I'll be there, I just hope I don't have to elbow my way through the crowd to get to the river. Can't wait to get to grips with Cousin Cod!!! Got a new reel and rod good to go as well.

Nope, not down that way till the 15th December but looks like I'll have a good few months down there to sort myself out - last few cod trips were doughnut flavoured.
