Got this one on Z Man Swimmerz and the new TT Warhead jig head,The new IPilot was a big factor in hooking this fish
There's a full report on my site for those interested, along with a snipet about a new Hybrid lure from Lively Lures.

Damm good lures Paul....They are in the bargain bin at Saltys in Bundy for $7.95 because someone said they dont swim.. :OMG

Awoonga they sure are good lures :youbeauty and very versitile can be fished from top water to very deep and weedless but some just don't know how to use a good lure, the ES drive from evergreen is another example of that as are the Arafura's from Lively Lures and many others out there it just depends on who is driving them.
Since winter they have caught fish from Awoonga and Monduran so they are going ok for the conditions we've had
At that price snap them up you wont get them any cheaper any where else.

G'day all,
New to this forum, :thumbsup I live up in Darwin and hope to put up a few freshwater posts later in the year when I can fish the billabongs and fresh reaches of rivers. Lot's of great info and reports on here.
Waiting for the runoff to crank up fully..........although reports coming in of a few nice fish being caught along the coastal creeks already. Paul I have one of the ES drives from Evergreen lurking around in my tackle boxes and have never given it much of a run, any hints on how to work it properly?
Cheers Muntzy

G/day Muntzy, welcome to Sweetwater it's a great sight,I use the ES drive with a short erratic twitch/pause retrieve after counting them down to the depth I want to fish and have caught all my fish on them that way they are a great lure in the right conditions, you shouldn't have too much trouble getting fish on them up your way,if the fish are feeding on mullet maybe a slow straight retrieve will work on them.

Saw those z man swimmers in Darwin and grabbed a couple of packets for a try. On the way home now and hoping to get to Namesake Creek on the Baines floodplain about 160ks east of home just on moonrise tonight (about 450 ks to go) Will be haveing quick shot there and keen to see how they go.
