As reported earlier my son Jules and I have a little comp going this season to see who can catch the most metre, number of individuals and largest bass this season - current score is Jules 6.18m - 20 individuals - 45 cm, I'm at 3.2 m - 11 individuals - 36.5 cm..... season is but a pup!!
Had a great kayak down our local creek last Sunday while dodging an electrical storm we caught 16 bass - Jules scoring one of 42 cm, we went back to collect our Kayaks from where we abandoned them mid week and only took fly rods - I caught naught - Jules two his best 45 cm.... must be the skilled teacher he's got!! (got to salvage some pride) :)
