Title: Lake Wivenhoe Report 11/8
Post by: Sweetwater on August 12, 2013, 09:35:51 AM
Did another arvo scouting run to Lake Wivenhoe.

Still some fish scattered around Brad's Point from 23 out to 45 feet.
Some better shows on the western end of the Horse Paddock where it drop from 40 odd feet to 60.

Pulled a few fat mid 40s bass in about 5 mins off a nice little school at Platypus Cliff before moving on. Didn't take any pics, only rats for Wivenhoe. Biggest was 46 - 48 ish.

As the sun was almost down couldn't stay, but I did find a mother lode school on the sounder out in the middle of nowhere. Couldn't stop but I did mark it on the GPS... time permitting I will go back this week.

Water looking good. Surface temp is just over 20c. Was a glass out all arvo.

Amazed there wasn't alot more people out there with the awesome weather & conditions.
