Post by: Warwick Outdoors Sports on July 09, 2014, 11:18:51 AM
LESLIE DAM: (http://www.sweetwaterfishing.com.au/leslie.htm) Leslie Dam has been a little quiet over the past week. Local anglers have managed to land a few nice fish on both lures and bait. The bait anglers have had success up near the Black Boys, while lure anglers have had success casting and trolling hard body lures across from the dam wall and up towards the back part of the dam.

CONNOLLY DAM (http://www.sweetwaterfishing.com.au/Connolly.htm): There have been a few nice fish landed at Connolly over the past week. Anglers reported on some nice Golden Perch being landed on saltwater yabbies while fishing along the weed edges over the weekend. There have also been a few fish landed up near the dam wall on bait.

MOOGERAH DAM (http://www.sweetwaterfishing.com.au/moogerah.htm): Bass are still fairly active at Moogerah. The schools of Bass in the main basin are still prominent with anglers managing to land some nice fish on soft plastics, blades and mask vibes. There have also been some fish landed up in the timber while casting TN60 Jackalls. There was also the odd Golden Perch landed while trolling hard body lures.

RIVER AND CREEKS: Our local rivers and creeks have produced a few nice fish over the last week or so. One angler was lucky enough to land a nice 75cm Murray Cod at Pratten on a Stumpjumper. There were also a few Golden Perch landed just below the Scots Weir on lures and bait
