Eucumbene
« on: January 18, 2012, 11:11:05 AM »
Just wondering if anyone has been fishing at Eucumbene, specifically the wall side of the lake, of late.  It is very hard to find any current reports. Am heading up in a week or so...

Thanks

Hbomb

Sorry Hbomb: you're either there ar on your way back.

Fished the place late November and the week after New Year. November was good (weather aside) with ten boated and one dropped (13cm Rapala size  up to 50cm) over three afternoon / evening sessions.  All on red Tassies and fished Angler's reach (James Creek up to Hughes Creek).

January rather slow (weather not much chop again). Only fished the two evenings for a couple of throwbacks.

So long as SnowyHydro doesn't pull the plug the place should fish well come April.
