Salmon for the Northwest and West

On Wednesday and Thursday this week (second week of November 2012) the IFS stocked lakes Kara and Rosebery with Atlantic salmon.

Stocked in July 2012, this latest stocking at Lake Rosebery should prove to be very popular.

Lake Kara was stocked with 540 salmon at 2 kg average weight, Lake Rosebery got 540 at an average weight of 3 kg. These salmon were donated by Springfield Fisheries.
Whilst there is not a reduced bag limit on these fisheries, anglers are asked to limit their take.
Anglers are reminded that this is a resource for every licensed angler to share.
