Nice thanks for the tip getting through there! Do the land owners get upset with parking along the road?

Mate
go all the way down to the end where there is a sign that says shut the gate.
Stay away from the gates on each side.
Good parking area down there these days and good path down to river

Going by the hobby farmer on the left's actions so far, I recon they do mind, but bully beef for them, was a road before they moved to the area, in fact its been a road since the 1940s! I don't like the 100+ Harleys that turn the quiet on my road to an hour long rumble every sunday morning, but I don't go putting illegal barbed wire fences across it, abuse them for legally using the road or apply to state govt to have the road closed to everyone excecpt myself.....
I bought the parish maps. The road reserve goes straight ahead from where the first illegal fence is, across the shingle crossing and turn right & go along the closest edge of the island to the end (width of approx 10m), that's where the road reserve ends. You can go through any illegal fence in your way, If anyone approaches you, abuses you, touches your car or tries to intimidate you, call the Lowood Police on (07) 5426 1108 C:-)
Don't go through either gate on left or right at the end where the illegal fence is, only go straight ahead either through the gate or simply cut the wire & keep going. If you cut yourself on the barbed wire, sue the SOB who illegally put the fence there.

So the harping road access point isn't private property? I was out there today and
The apparent " land owner" came down and told us to leave or he would call the police. We were suspicious at first and thought it was strange that the Main access gate did not say private property, but left because we weren't sure. so why does the council allow him to have the gate up blocking the river ?
