Went down to the Dumaresq yesterday for one more fish before the close season.
Originally had planned to go to the Mole but after our confrontation last month, I thought better of it as the locals seem to be a bit sensitive to kayakers passing through their properties.
The water was still cool but the clarity had improved a fair bit from since I was down there last and the flow has slowed right down.
We didn't get a hit until after lunch and but in the next three hours we caught three and dropped four; a Garra Lure Tarki and a Oar-Gee Plow did the damage, nothing big but still a good afternoon.

Nothing wrong with that last fish mate. Not a bad size.
