This time Dale you get to enjoy the flood release as last October when it was this high you were too busy slaying those bigguns in PNG ;D

Cheers,
Dave.

You're right Dave.  We had a quick look at Twin Bridges in October before we flew to PNG.  Met up with an American a week later who asked if we'd been flooded out at home, it was the first I'd heard about the flooding bit.  It's an amazing amount of water pouring down the river.  But I don't think I'm allowed to wash my car.

Looks like a nice launch spot for a quick trip down to Burtons :walkplank

Was thinking the same thing.  Reckon I could do it in under 10 minutes in the Stratos.

During the last dam release I ran into a mate at Twin Bridges who had just done Twin Bridges to Burtons run in 4 hours.  :OMG Said he drifted most of it.

** Please note - canoeing & kayaking during flood events is highly dangerous. Do so at your own risk. ** I've done it & almost payed the ultimate price.  :-[

fitz..
