wivenhoe, Sunday
« on: September 27, 2010, 08:41:18 AM »
Turned out to be a cracker day at Wivenhoe, with the weather holding off for the day, fish biting, and meeting up with old friends.
Pictures below are screenshots of the 898 Humminbird and a few of the fish we found.
Robbie had a blinder, new PB, 53 cm, and plenty more fat bass!!!
Ended up with 20 plus for the day, trolling, jigging, casting, majority of fish holding on the same spot, plus found a few new locations as well

Good to catch up yesterday Paul.  There were some awesome shows out there.  You'd better get that 'bird back to BLA mate, there's something wrong with the pixels on the top left of the screen....didn't you notice it?  It's right where the GPS co-ordinates would be.

Thanks Dale, good pickup.
I am monitoring that
It is intermittant, works ok mostly, and blacks out when the sounder fills up with fish ;D

I've spoken to the Humminbird service guys, they told me how to fix it so if you just drop it over, I'll sort it out for you. The process does involve the downloading of all GPS marks & history...  ;D

Nice fish Paul. Just rememeber those fat girls don't handle getting their necks stretched much.

Fitz..

Went back with Conor for a mid week fish.
Fish were not schooled up as they were on sunday, we had to cover a fair bit of ground before we found them.
Most caught on Halco deep divers and some TT blades that were a new addition in the tackle box
Didnt get the size of previous trips, but healthy deep belly 45 cm fish are good
Conor ended the day very happy, more bass than hes ever caught

Nice fish PMC, I think it was you I was talking to out there on Tuesday. Hope you got home before that storm hit, I know it chased me off the dam.

Cheers Andrew

Yeah, that was us, we copped it full on, Conor was trying to hide in the live well, it was drier he thought.
Come out the other side of the storm, think i need a bilge pump?
I did see the Sweetwater stikka, will have to put one on mine
