I was happy to see this, a fair size for a Dumaresq Yella.

Between the two of us we landed 9 cod and 2 yellas and there were plenty of hits.

After having another look at your post Dave im thinking i should take my fly rod and Water strider kick raft down there after the silly season, thanks again for the pics, im excited

No worries Eric.

You should do well. Keep in mind the weather in the wekks before hand. My previous 2 trips earlier in the year were ruined by very dirty and high water , and last summer was relatively hot and dry. Go figure.

Going by the debris the river has had some very good flow events during late winter and spring. Which has should be great for lure fishos. There are no weed issues at all, like what has plagued us in other dry seasons.
